No more ducks available until next year
We have hatched all the Aylesburys we are going to do this year. Of the ones that weren't sold, we are keeping them on the farm for either meat birds or to strengthen the line for next year. The meat birds are ones that don't conform to the Standards that we want to breed to (read more about the ducks here), so unfortunately we do not want to sell them on as breeding stock. Please feel free to contact us for more info.
We will shortly be increasing our flock size with the acquisition of several ducks from Heritage Meadows Farm, and working with Oregon State University's Department of Agricultural and Rangeland Sciences to create a breeding program to promote diversity and hybrid vigor in our lines.
We have sadly lost our Dorking rooster, so we will not be hatching any of this breed for the foreseeable future (until we get another rooster matured and established with the flock).
We are now NPIP certified, allowing us to ship our ducklings nationwide. However, please be aware that with the various delays in mailing and shipping due to the pandemic and various states' lockdown laws, we are vary wary about shipping any kind of bird and run the risk of having them stuck in holding somewhere.
